I still have so many great memories of Norma. Ballet Norma: her dry wit, her uniqueness, her kindness, and how much she cared and also, too, how great it was seeing her at the desk at the bottom of the stairs at Huntingdon in the afternoons as we all poured in from school, ready to forget about everything but dance ... that dungeonesque dance studio with it's musty smell, Don and Mary Lou, and endless Nutcracker preparations and Spring Show rehearsals--all culminating in Norma being there for the dancers backstage when the show was finally on!
